Lead Dental Assistant
I have been in the dental field since 2002. I am a graduate of WPCC as a dental assistant and am DANB certified. My goal is to help our patients feel comfortable while receiving treatment in our office. I love helping patients understand their dental needs and how to improve their oral health. It is rewarding to see patients regain confidence in their own smile. I value relationships I have attained during that process over the years.
I am excited to have joined Dr. Cordora's office as his lead dental assistant. We have an amazing staff. We are a caring team that works well together while maintaining a fun and professional office. We have a positive work environment and are dedicated to giving our patients excellent dental care. Its a pleasure to work with everyone. When not at work I spend time with my family. I have been married 27 years, have two sons, one daughter, two grandsons, and two dogs. We enjoy taking vacations together and going to baseball games. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and home projects.
I am a true area native, growing up in Cherryville. Working alongside Dr. Cordora, I strive to always be friendly and approachable and committed to providing top quality care.
I am an integral part of your dental experiene, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly for the dentist, and for you our patient. My favorite part of dentistry is seeing how happy the patients are when they leave and are provided a new smile.
Aside from dentistry, I love playing golf, spending time with my family and friends, as well as exploring the scenic beauty that we enjoy in our area.
I enjoy helping our patients feel at home at our office, always listening to them and making sure they know we care. I actually have dental anxiety and working here, as well as having Dr. Cordora as my dentist, has helped me overcome my fears. I share that experience with our patients to reassure them! I assist patients with scheduling appointments and provide support to our Financial Coordinator and Dr. Cordora.
I joined the practice in 2015 and immediately knew I was in the right place. Dr. Cordora is passionate about helping each patient achieve a healthy smile and he and the team are kind and gentle with everyone.
Outside of work, my hobbies revolve around supporting my sons’ interests in sports and the arts.
I like interacting with different people and building trust with each of them. When a patient knows I’m here to help them, they feel safe and relax, and they’re more open to the education I offer. I enjoy motivating and teaching people proper home dental hygiene techniques and promoting good oral health, so people have lifetimes of great smiles.
I joined Dr. Cordora and my teammates in 2017 and am happy to be part of a supportive and friendly office. Everyone here cares about each other and we’re united in our desire to provide the best care to our patients.
When not working, I love to read, travel, and spend time with my husband, son, and our various pets.
Financial and Treatment Coordinator
I enjoy working closely with each patient, helping them understand their dental needs and figuring out a plan to achieve their healthiest, best smile. I walk patients through their proposed treatment, answer questions, and discuss options. We also discuss financials, including payment plans and insurance, and find an approach that works for their needs and budget. Additionally, I handle all insurance filing and follow up.
I’ve been part of the dental field since 1996 and was fortunate to join Dr. Cordora and this amazing team in 2015. While we’re serious about helping our patients, we’re also warm and friendly. There’s a lot of laughter and plenty of smiles at our office.
Outside of work, I love nature, reading, and spending time with my family. I’m married and have three daughters and one granddaughter. I also enjoy volunteering through my church and in our community.
