Meet the Team

Alishia

Dental Hygienist

I graduated from CVCC and have worked in the dental field for more than 15 years. I loving helping my patients obtain the smile they have always desired by providing dental cleanings and education about oral care techniques to improve overall health. The relationship I build with my patients mean so much to me!

My husband Casey and I have one “fur baby” a humane society rescue puppy named Rusty. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Atlanta Braves!

Shannon

Lead Dental Assistant

I am a 2002 graduate of Western Piedmont Community College’s dental assisting program and am DANB certified. I ass Dr. Cordora with all clinical procedures and help my teammates provide excellent care to our patients. My goal is to help our patients understand their dental needs and how to improve their oral health. I want all patients to feel comfortable while regaining confidence in their smiles after completing treatment.

When not at work I spend time with my family. I have been married 27 years and have two sons, on daughter, two grandsons, and two dogs. We enjoy taking vacations together and going to baseball games. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and home projects.

Darlene

Administrative Assistant

I attended Winston-Salem State University and CVCC, studying healthcare management. I joined Dr. Cordora’s team in 2015 and I immediately knew I was in the right place. I assist patients with scheduling appointments and I provide office support to our financial coordinator and Dr. Cordora. I enjoy helping our patients and making them feel at home and comfortable at our office.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with family and friends and supporting my son’s interest in the arts and music.

Lilia

Dental Hygienist

I like interacting with different people and building trust with each of them. When a patient knows I am here to help them feel safe and relax and they are more open to the education I offer. I enjoy motivating and teaching people proper home dental hygiene techniques and promoting good oral health, so people have lifetime of great smiles.

I joined Dr. Cordora and my teammates in 2017 and I am happy to be a part of a supportive and friendly office. Everyone here cares about each other and we are united in our desire to provide the best care to our patients.

When not working, I love to read, travel, and spend time with husband, son, and our various pets.

Michelle

Financial and Treatment Coordinator

I’ve been part of the dental field since 1996 and was fortunate to join Dr. Cordora and this amazing team in 2015. I have a background in business but have worked in the dental field for more than 20 years. I love being a part of the smile transformations that increase our patients’ self-image! I help our patients understand their dental treatment plans and discuss financial options, including any insurance benefits they may have.

Outside of work, I love nature, reading, and spending time with my family. I’m married and have three daughters and one granddaughter. I also enjoy volunteering through my church and in our community.

Destiny

Dental Assistant

I graduated from WPCC Dental Assisting Program in 2022 and I have been working at this office ever since! I enjoy taking care of my patients’ needs and making them feel comfortable in treatment.

In my spare time I enjoy taking my three “fur babies” on adventures and spending time with my family and friends.
