Meet the Team
Melissa Simpson – Dental Hygienist
I have been employed by Dr. Cordora since 2003. I earned an associates degree in dental hygiene from Catawba Valley Community College in 2002. I have been a resident of Catawba County since 1994. I most enjoy working on patients, from the very young to the young-at-heart! It has been exciting to watch our practice grow. My personal time involves spending time with friends and my two children, Brice and Brysa. We also have a very spoiled, lazy Siamese named Duncan.
Kelly Winters – Dental Assistant
I have been an assistant to Dr. Cordora for the past four years. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Western Piedmont Community College. I enjoy the variety of procedures that assisting allows me to perform. I currently reside in Hickory with my husband. Outside of work I love spending time with my family and being outdoors.
Sheena Payne – Certified Dental Assistant
I have been an assistant to Dr. Cordora for two years. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Wilkes Community College and have been in the profession for four years. I love my job as an assistant because I am able to do different procedures every day. I enjoy being part of a patient's smile transformation. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and pets.
Jamie Moten – Financial/Insurance Coordinator
I have worked with Dr. Cordora since June of 2007. I received my associate degree in medical office administration from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. I have been a resident of Iredell County since 2004. I enjoy spending my spare time with my husband, Eric, and our children Erica (age 5) and Justus (age 3).
Tabatha Pope – Patient Services Coordinator
I am the newest addition to Dr. Cordora's office. I am also a trained dental assistant. I enjoy being able to interact with our patients. I take classes at Catawba Valley Community College and play on the volleyball team. In my spare time, I coach the Burke County Volleyball Club. I have a boxer named Gage.
Paige Sapp – Dental Hygienist
I have been practicing hygiene for seven years and have been with Dr. Cordora since May 2006. I graduated from Catawba Valley Community College in May 2002. I enjoy working with my fellow employees as we all get along so well. I have a daughter who is four and we enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing tea party. I also enjoy cooking for my family and friends. I'm always game for new recipes.
