Meet the Dentist
Dr. Cordora has been caring for patients in the Hickory area since 2001. He enjoys creating beautiful smiles by combining technical excellence and an artistic eye. Dr. Cordora is known for his compassion, sense of humor, and enthusiasm for dentistry. His commitment to patients is evident in his high quality approach to dental health by using state-of-the-art equipment and attending continuing education seminars on the latest clinical techniques.
Dr. Cordora earned his bachelor of science degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996. As an undergraduate, Dr. Cordora was a letterman on the varsity football team and received an athletic scholarship in 1994. Following graduation, Dr. Cordora earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, one of the top programs in the country. While in dental school he was awarded the dean's list and was the recipient of the Clarence Lee Sockwell Scholarship in 1999.

Dr. Cordora is currently a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Western Piedmont Dental Society. He is currently working toward a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction that signifies advanced educational training in high quality patient care.
Dr. Cordora's wife, Julie, is a Hickory native, and they have a three-year-old son, Alex. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Cordora enjoys fly fishing, skiing, and golf.
